Non medical approach to lowering your blood pressure

If I had high blood pressure I would use this device. You wear it on your wrist and you can monitor your blood pressure throughout the day. If you see that your blood pressure is high take a break...take 5 minutes to take deep breaths. Breath (deeply and slowly) in through your nose and out through your mouth. Deep breathing can lower your blood pressure instantly...why didn't the doctor tell you that?

To find out more ways to lower your blood pressure without medication
Check out Pharmacist Ben Fuch's article

Do you suffer from Migraines? Try this Non pharmaceutical approach !!

I have gotten rid of Migraines with magnesium glycinate. It has a very relaxing effect on the body.

*It may also help with anxiety, insomnia, stress, menstrual cramps, fibromyalgia and much more.

**Not all magnesium is made the same. The worst forms are magnesium oxide, Magnesium carbonate.

The best forms are Magnesium glycinate and Magnesium citrate.

My favorite magnesium supplement is Relaxamag

Aspirin linked to Eye disease

If you listen to your stupid doctor's advise you might end up blind. A new study conducted by the University of Sydney  found an association between regular aspirin usage and Macular Degeneration.

While there is no doubt that aspirin has the ability to prevent you from getting a heart attack, is that really the wisest way to do it? I think that there is something wrong with the idea of using a drug to maintain your health. All pharmaceutical Drugs are toxic and need to be processed by the bodies poison control center...The liver. You are putting a heavy burden on your liver everytime you take a pharmaceutical drug whether its prescription or over the counter.

There are smarter stratgegies out there that I would use if I was worried about my cardiovascular health.

The first thing is obviously to eat a better diet & exercise

I would take a multivitamin and add additional  Vitamin C, Magnesium , Selenium, Vitamin K, Omega 3 fatty acids, CoQ10, Vitamin E, and chromium.

I would use these at their theurapeutic dosages which are well above the RDA's.

* This is my opinion and what I would do for myself based on the research I have done, I am not a medical doctor (thank god) nor are these statements approved by the FDA.

Salt Myths

*In order for your stomach to properly digest food its optimal PH Level should be 1.5.  Sodium and Calcium are  needed to produce this desirable stomach acid level. People who are on a salt restricted diet will have weak stomach acid. When you have weak stomach acid you will not be able to extract calcium from your food (which makes your stomach acid even weaker !!) Contrary to popular Healthcare belief, Heartburn is caused by weak stomach acid. Dont reach for the antacids !!
This will only weaken your stomach acid making it impossible for you to properly digest your food.

So reach for the salt and salt your food :)

If you are worried about getting hypertension (High Blood pressure) I would like to inform you that there has never been a well documentated study proving that a High salt intake will cause Hypertension. (as far as i'm aware of) This is another medical myth !!
