A Nutritious and Satisfying One Food Meal

Once In a while it is good to get away from the "normal" way of eating that we are used too.

I just broke a mini fast with a head of broccoli with butter and Himalayan sea salt. It was incredibly delicious, nutritious and satisfying.

I steamed a large head of broccoli for about 5 minutes.
Added about 5 tablespoons of butter.
And used Himalayan salt generously.

Most main stream medical professionals, as well as your average joe will freak out when you tell them that salt and butter are great for you. But it is true !!

We have been mislead and misinformed by the medical establishment yet again.

Butter is an incredible fat source that is great for brain and skin health. It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Vitamin E, Essential fatty acids, and a good source of cholesterol !!

Yes cholesterol is good stuff !! Every single cell in your body requires it, especially your brain which is made up of about 80% cholesterol !!

I have noticed that many people who are on cholesterol lowering medications start losing their memory as a direct result of them artificially lowering their cholesterol with toxic medications.

Just make sure you do not mistake butter for margarine which is nasty nasty stuff.
Stay away from these blended "alternative" butters that promote them selves as being "smart"
They are usually filled with Genetically modified organisms.

Also be cautious of eating "butter flavored" stuff. This stuff contains nasty nasty chemicals as well.

As for salt.....Your body craves it because you need it !!
Just make sure that you are getting a well balanced salt that contains a wide range of mineralssuch as Himalayan sea salt (which has about 82 trace minerals in it !!) and celtic sea salt.
Stay away from processed salt which commonly has aluminum in it.

You need salt to help you create stomach acid. This helps you better digest food.
* sodium chloride (which is salt) helps you create hydrochloric acid (it gives you the chloride)

So if you want better digestion....Salt your food !! especially when eating a fatty meal :)

That being said....If you want to lose weight....try what I just ate above.
Don't be scared of the cholesterol, salt and fat content....I bet you will eat less after you eat like that.

Ps. forgot to mention that I ended my meal with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
* also make sure you are drinking plenty of water whenever eating a high fiber meal :)
