Your Moisturizer & Soap may give you cancer

Mountain Rose Herbs. A Herbs, Health & Harmony Com

Most personal care products such as moisturizers, soaps, toothpastes, shaving gels, deodorants, and lubricants contain Parabens and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) two suspected Carcinogens.

Parabens is a preservative that is widely used do to its low cost and its ability to discourage bacteria and fungus from growing inside products. The most commonly used Parabens are methylparaben, ethylparaben propylparaben and butylparaben. A recent study published in the January 2012 issue of the Journal of Applied Technology discovered parabens in 99% of cancerous breast tumors. Another study published in 2004 also found Parabens in breast tumors.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) as well as Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) are foaming agents commonly used in personal care products. SLS is a strong detergent that can destroy the skins protective layer and allow other toxic chemicals (that are usually found along with sls) to enter the bloodstream. SLS is irritating to the eyes, gums, skin, and hair follicles.

Throw away your skin moisturizer and use Virgin Coconut oil. This is the only moisturizer that i use. It heals and protects the skin while smelling great. I use it to heal and relieve dry skin, sun burns, and eczema. I also use it to make other personal care products like deodorant and toothpaste. Make sure you buy virgin coconut oil and not refined coconut oil. Always buy Virgin Coconut oil that is in a glass not a plastic container.
