Trouble shooting your Asthma and nutritional solutions

When you have Asthma it means that your immune system has been activated. It is an inflammatory response that constricts your bronchioles which can result in coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and/or chest tightness.

Medical doctors treat this condition with dangerous immune suppressing steroidal drugs.

I think it is an unwise idea to shut down the body's immune system. When we shut down the body's immune system we are more susceptible to sickness and/or disease. We are playing with fire when we do such things.

I do believe there is use for these type of drugs for emergency purposes and people with asthma should have these on hand incase of severe asthmatic attack.

If you would like to figure out how to solve this chronic problem though there is a way to do so.

Since asthma is the result of the immune system being activated, we want to find out what is activating the immune system. What is getting into the body that is causing this inflammatory immune response ?

There are only 3 ways that things can get into the body. Through the nose, mouth, or skin.

1) You can inhale something that causes an immune response.
2) You can absorb something through the skin (rare).
3) You can eat something that is causing an immune response.

The majority of the time it is what we are eating that is causing an immune response.

The most common food allergens or immune activating foods are dairy, wheat, peanuts, and soy, but any food (no matter how healthy)can cause an immune response.

The first strategy is to find out what food is causing your immune system to be activated and eliminate that food.

The second strategy is to use anti-inflammatory nutrients.

The most effective way to find out what food is triggering your asthma is to keep a food diary.
Write down every food or drink that you ingest and the time that you eat it.
You should also write down how you feel after you eat that food. 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours after you eat that food.

Look for digestive symptoms like gassiness, bloating, belching, indigestion, heart burn.
Look for any skin reactions.
Look for any other reactions in the body including the asthma.

If I had asthma I would take advantage of these excellent digestive strengthening and anti-inflammatory supplements.

Do you have Season Allergies?

My wife suffers from Seasonal allergies every year. She is allergic to the over the counter antihistamines so she cannot use them. I gave her some nutritional remedies that worked pretty well.
Most of her symptoms cleared up within 2 1/2 days !!

I gave her:

1 Fish oil/day
(has anti-inflammatory properties)
http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/dha.php/#a_aid=wellnessid

2 Quercetin/day (1 with breakfast, 1 with lunch)
(has antihistamine like effects)
http://www.wellnessresources.com/supplements/quercetin.php/#a_aid=wellnessid

3 vitamin C/day (1 with breakfast, 1 with lunch, 1 with dinner)
(immune strengthening support)
http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/vitamin_c.php/#a_aid=wellnessid

2 Vitamin D/day (1 with breakfast, 1 with lunch)
(immune strengthening support)
http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/d_vitamind.php/#a_aid=wellnessid

2 multivitamins (1 with breakfast, 1 with lunch)
(gives your body the basic vitamins & minerals needed to work optimally)
http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/daily_energy.php/#a_aid=wellnessid

2 probiotics (2 before bedtime)
(builds the intestinal "friendly bacteria" which assists the immune system)
http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/super_dophilus.php/#a_aid=wellnessid

* Also try fresh ginger tea

* digestive enzymes for their anti-inflammatory affects (taken away from meals)
When digestive enzymes are taken with food they assist in digestion, when they are taken away from meals they have anti inflammatory affect on the body.

I also gave her a hepa filter which purifies the air in her room from pollen, dust, and mold.

The Highest Quality Fish Oil No Mercury

"Daily DHA" contains a mercury-free fish oil that supports cardiovascular health, brain cells, eye health, and mood. It is also an important omega-3 oil to take during pregnancy.*
"Daily DHA" contains 582mg of mercury-free marine lipid oil per capsule. This provides 250mg of the highly desirable DHA omega-3 oil and 35mg of EPA per capsule! It is molecularly distilled, ensuring no heavy metals or mercury are in the supplement. It is also a modified fish oil that is very high in DHA and low in EPA. Too much EPA may thin blood too much or actually get in the way of DHA doing its job.*
DHA is a highly preferred omega-3 essential fatty acid of the brain that is needed for healthy brain function in both children and adults.* It is an important nutrient for the development of nerves, cognitive ability, and vision, making it an excellent supplement for pregnancy, nursing, and children.* Adequate DHA supports learning whereas deficiencies may inhibit learning.*
DHA accumulates in bones and is an important nutrient for bone health.* Animal experiments show that DHA deficiency in bone adversely stresses bone structure and that supplementation with DHA helps promote normal bone structure.*
The FDA allows the following claim: Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.

Eczema

Eczema can be helped without dangerous drugs.
I have helped myself and many other's clear up eczema through dietary supplementation.

First work on your digestive system.
Take a probiotic supplement that includes several strains of live bacteria daily. (take first thing in the morning before eating or right before bed)

If I had severe digestive issues I would take digestive enzymes that would assist the body in digesting and absorbing food.

Take omega 3 essential fatty acids daily
(Make sure the mercury has been removed from any fish oil supplement)

The supplements that i recommend are
"Fish oil Daily DHA" & "Super Dophilus"

If you think you need digestive enzymes
"Digestive Helper" is a great supplement

Stay away from fried food, gluten, sodas, and eliminate processed foods.
If you must use a moisturizer use "Virgin coconut oil" that is in a glass bottle (not plastic)

You can find these supplements by clicking the banner below use the drop down menu that says "Find supplements"
