There are a lot of bad drugs out there. Calcium channel blockers can prevent cells from using calcium an important nerve conducting mineral. Not good! Steroid drugs like prednisone suppress the immune system making the body more susceptible to infections. They also suppress growth and repair and can accelerate the development of degenerative disease. Antibiotics impair gut health, diuretics induce the loss of precious minerals like zinc and selenium and magnesium, and anti-osteoporosis drugs like Fosamax and Boniva can cause a horrible jaw affliction called osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ), which is basically a rapid decay and death of the jawbone. According to lawyers for ONJ victims, the potential connection of incidences the jawbone disease to the use these types of drugs was not unknown to manufacturers of the medications who are currently being targeted by a class action investigation as well as multiple individual injury lawsuits.

Mcdonalds teaching nutrition to kids?

Since Childhood obesity and the diseases that usually accompany them are on the rise, Mcdonald's wants to teach kids a little about nutrition.

Mcdonald's now invites school children to their local restaurants to conduct workshops designed to teach them about healthy eating strategies. The children learn about fat, sodium, and calorie counting. The kids are then allowed to make their own sandwiches.

"I learned that McDonald's can be very healthy for you if you make the right choices. I usually have lots of cheese, but I had less cheese and more lettuce, and I had chicken instead of hamburger because it has fewer calories," said 11 year old Shannon Mullings.

11 year old Peranai Sirichantho said he planned to get an Angus Deluxe, but chose a Big Mac because it had 210 fewer calories.

Is this a joke?  Mcdonald's teaching children about healthy eating?

Is this how Mcdonald's plans on battling the obesity epidemic in this country?

By teaching kids to have less cheese and more of their nutrient lacking lettuce?

By choosing their hormone injected, antibiotic fed, silicone coated chicken nuggets over their  hormone/antibiotic fed beef  full of  preservatives?

I feel sorry for these 11 year olds if they dont have anyone in their families telling them that Mcdonalds is something they should steer clear of if they care about their health.

They are feeding Prozac to the chickens

     Researchers from John Hopkins Center for a Liveable Future and Arizona State University discovered more than they can imagine when they conducted tests to see what kind of drugs are being used by poultry producers. By examining Feather meal, an additive that is used in feed for live stock derived from chicken feathers, they were able to detect 59 pharmaceutical and personal care products. Among the drugs that were discovered were a class of antibiotics called Fluoroquinolones, the pain reliever Acetaminophen, the antihistamine Diphenhydramine, the antidepressant Fluoxetine, Caffeine, and Arsenic.

    

     *Fluoroquinolones are a class of antibiotics that were banned by the FDA for poultry use back in 2005. They were banned because they have the ability to create drug resistant bacteria known as super bugs.

     *Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol and is a pain reliever and fever reducer.

     *Diphenhydramine the active ingredient in Benadryl is an antihistamine

     *Fluoxetine is the active ingredient in the antidepressant Prozac.

     *Arsenic is a Class A carcinogen. It is used in chicken feed to fight parasites, increase chicken growth, and makes chicken meat look more attractive by giving it a pinker look.

      Im Assuming that they give the chickens caffeine so that they can eat more by staying up longer hours. They then give them prozac to combat their depression since they are sleep deprived and live in horrible conditions. When a chicken is stressed their meat toughens up, so Benadryl is encouraged to reduce their anxiety and make their meat softer.

                           Evertime you eat non organic meat you are being medicated.
